Thermal Devices offers the following Tutco duct heaters:
E-Series – Flip-Able Duct Heater
The E-Series Flip-Able Duct Heater has been specifically designed, developed and tested with symmetry in mind eliminating the need for right and left handed designs. This one heater may be installed in four different positions.
- UL and ETL Listed
- Patent-pending “Flip-Able” design
- Symmetrically designed heater
- No more left and right hand heaters
- One heater for six mounting positions with vertical up and downflow
- Can be rotated to fit the requirements and location of the HVAC system
- May be used as a stand-alone duct heater
- Offers lower standard heater wire watt density and higher duct to heat coverage
- More high and low kilowatt options are available in all sizes
UL Listed Outdoor Duct Heater
- Heater is UL listed for Outdoor Applications
- All of the limit controls in all TUTCO duct heaters are automatic resets or are manually resettable. There are no devices that have to be replaced when tripped.
- In a horizontal airflow application, the airflow direction is not specific; it can go either direction without any modification.
- With Tutco’s wire rack element suspension system, the heater coil is less susceptible to airflow shading and allows a very small pressure drop across the coils.
- All TUTCO duct heaters carry a zero clearance rating for installations into ducts.
E-Series – VAV Flip-Able Heater
Tutco’s new E-Series VAV Flip-Able Heater has been specifically designed, developed and tested with symmetry in mind eliminating the need for right and left handed designs.

DHC & DC Series
Custom duct heaters featuring much larger sizes (up to 10′ wide x 12′ high) and many accessory options.
- A disconnecting magnetic control contactor per stage, or each 48 amp circuit within a stage
- 50 or 60 Hz design
- Fan interlock
- Power terminal board

DHD & DD Series

R-Series – Round Duct Heater
Round series of duct heaters available in 6″, 8″ and 10″ diameters.
- Zero Clearance Approved
- Flex duct can be mounted directly to unit (250°F / 121°C rated), no transition or extra metal duct required
- Factory installed airflow switch and probe, no need to specify right or left airflow, superior design allows for operation in either direction
